Privacy Policy

This policy is maintained by K12Logic LLC ("K12Logic", "we", "us") to explain how KA$H ("K12Logic Alliance for Compensation & HR Exchange") handles information you provide. It applies to the KA$H web application and related services.

Our commitment

  • We do not sell your personal data. We do not rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.
  • We do not share personal information with advertising networks or data brokers.
  • We only use the data you submit to operate KA$H, support your account, and produce the aggregate salary comparisons that are the purpose of the service.

Information we collect

  • Account information: name, work email address, the LEA (district or county office) you select, and your role.
  • Position information you enter: position title, salary range, supervises, reports-to, budget, department details, and links to public salary schedules.
  • Public data we import: California Department of Education district records, enrollment, and publicly posted salary schedules.
  • Billing information: handled by our payment processor; K12Logic does not store full payment card numbers.
  • Operational data: sign-in events, basic request/error logs, and feature usage needed to keep KA$H running.

How we use information

  • To create and secure your account and authenticate sign-ins.
  • To show salary comparisons, peer benchmarks, and the dashboards and reports that are part of KA$H.
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions or invoices.
  • To send service messages (email confirmation, password reset, billing receipts, important account notices).
  • To improve accuracy of the database, detect abuse, and meet legal obligations.

Service providers we use

We rely on a small number of vendors to run KA$H. They process data only on our behalf and are bound by their own terms:
  • Cloud hosting and database (application and data storage).
  • Authentication and email delivery for account messages.
  • Payment processing for subscriptions and purchase orders.

Aggregate and de-identified data

Salary comparisons shown in KA$H are produced from data submitted by users plus publicly available salary schedules. We may publish aggregate, de-identified statistics (for example, county or statewide averages). Aggregate statistics do not identify individuals.

Your choices

  • You can view and update the position, department, and agency data you entered from inside the app.
  • You can request deletion of your account and the personal data tied to it by emailing Kash@k12logic.com.
  • You can cancel a paid subscription at any time from the billing screen.

Data retention

We retain account and submitted data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to support audit, billing, and legal obligations. Deletion requests are honored within a reasonable time unless we are required to retain certain records.

Security

We use industry-standard practices including encrypted connections, access controls, and role-based permissions. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify affected users of a material security incident as required by law.

Children

KA$H is intended for K-12 administrators and staff. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by notifying account holders.
